This recipe to make Snickerdoodle Scones is to die for! We tried it on a whim one day when we really wanted cinnamon scones and it was so simple we knew we had to share it with our customers!
As usual there are many variations that someone can take from this to make them their own.
Ingredients:
1 Bag of Sticky Fingers Bakeries Original Scones
2/3 Cup of Water
Cinnamon and/or Cinnamon Chips
Sugar
Optional: Icing
Start by mixing the Original Scones and Water like you would to make Sticky Fingers Scones
Mix in the cinnamon chips or fold in the cinnamon. Cinnamon chips give a great bursting with cinnamon taste, but they are a bit harder to find at the store. If you are using cinnamon make sure to fold it in so there are pockets of cinnamon instead of mixing it throughout.
In a separate bowl mix together approximately 1/8 cup Sugar and 1 Tablespoons of Cinnamon.
Next section out your scones however you like them (spoonfuls, triangles, rounds...). Place one section at a time in the cinnamon sugar mixture coating all sides. Remove and place on baking tray.
Bake at 375F for approximately 14 minutes.
Optional add icing to make it more like a cinnamon roll!
