Eggnog Scone

Eggnog Scone

Ingredients 

  • 1 Package Sticky Fingers Original Scone Mix 
  • 2/3 Cup + 1 Tablespoon Cold Eggnog 
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg 

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a measuring cup, measure out cold Eggnog and stir in 1/8 teaspoon of Nutmeg.
  3.  In a bowl, add your Eggnog mixture and Original Scone mix and stir with a fork until combined and sticky dough forms. If dough seems dry, add additional Eggnog 1 teaspoon at a time.
  4. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough (10-12) about 3" apart onto prepared pan. For triangle-shaped scones, shape by hand into triangle or if using a wedge-shaped pan, drop even mounds of dough into each cavity and spread into triangle shape. 
  5. Bake 14-16 minutes, or until firm and lightly golden on top.
