Breakfast Casserole with Leftover Corn Bread

Ingredients 

  • 4 Cups Leftover Original or Organic Marie Callenders Corn Bread, Cubed 
  • 1 Package of 16oz Frozen Fully Cooked Sausage Links or Patties, thawed and diced
  • 2 Cups Milk 
  • 6 Whole Eggs
  • 1 Cup Grated Cheese 
  • 1/2 Cup Diced & Sautéed Onion 
  • 1/2 Cup Diced & Sautéed Pepper
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt 
  • 1/4 Teaspoon of Black Pepper 
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Garlic Powder 
  • 1/2 Teaspoon Paprika 
  • 1 Teaspoon Basil 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 
  2. Grease your 9 x 13 pan
  3. In a bowl, beat the milk, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and basil. 
  4. Arrange a layer of diced corn bread in the bottom of the prepared pan. 
  5. Arrange the diced sausage, onion and pepper over the corn bread. 
  6. Continue to layer the corn bread, sausage, onion, and pepper until you have used it all.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the corn bread and sausage 
  8. Top the entire dish with the shredded cheese.
  9. Bake for 30-35 Minutes
